Video Producer, BBC Russian Service (Moscow based)

Job Introduction

BBC World Service Group is an international multimedia broadcaster, delivering a wide range of language and regional services on radio, TV, online with a big focus on mobile.

The BBC Russian Service Moscow bureau is looking for a Video Producer to join the team on a continuing contract.

Role Responsibility

In this role you will be researching, storyboarding and editing stories for our TV output and online.

We expect you to come up with ideas for new ways of presenting content in our Russian-language TV bulletin in the most engaging and innovative way.

You will be covering a wide range of stories, from hard news to in-depth analysis and human interest stories.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a person who has experience of video production, who understands how TV and digital video work and is up to date with the latest technical developments in the area.

You will have an in-depth knowledge of existing and emerging video formats and your own ideas for new ones.

You will have experience of video editing and an eye for moving pictures. You should demonstrate the ability to visualise stories and turn them into engaging video product.

The candidates should be fluent in spoken and written Russian, with an excellent command of English.
