We currently have an exciting opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Digital Ad Operations Executive to join the busy team here at the BBC
The purpose of the Digital Ad Operations Executive role is to ensure the smooth running of the Ad Operations Department and provide the Advertising Sales teams within BBC Worldwide around the world with efficient, fast and effective support by executing and managing all web, mobile, App and video campaigns in order to help maximise revenues. This role may evolve into TV operations as well.
Reporting to the Digital Ad Operations Manager (EMEA), the role involves accurately managing clients’ campaigns, liaison with creative agencies, all of the global sales offices, bbc.com, Consumer Digital, Global News Limited, BBC Channels and Marketing teams, website design and technical teams and with the Finance departments.
The role requires the ability to work in a highly pressured environment and the knowledge and confidence to make business critical decisions at very short notice. Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy, as well as an ability to take ownership, are integral to the role.
The Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for someone with a thirst for knowledge and determination to succeed. You’ll have excellent prioritisation skills and a methodical approach with superb attention to detail; being able to quickly assess and act on changing priorities on a regular basis. You will be self-motivated and highly organised; a team player with excellent people management skills, able to communicate effectively and confidently with people at all levels both internally and externally, around the world. You’ll be eager to learn new skills and apply them; an enthusiasm for what you do will be key to your success.
An interest in learning about and understanding digital advertising sales, including programmatic, mobile and Apps as well as an interest in understanding responsive design applied to websites, ad slots and ad formats would be a must.
